Terms for using Gatherfox.
These terms set the rules between Gatherfox and organizers, contributors and viewers. They do not replace consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Agreement and eligibility
By creating a project, submitting a contribution or using a private viewing page, you agree to the parts of these terms that apply to your role and to the Privacy Notice. Organizers must be able to enter a binding contract. Contributors must be at least 13; an authorized adult must submit for a younger child.
What Gatherfox provides
Gatherfox collects short private video messages and automatically creates a montage. The organizer controls the invitation, inclusion, order, captions, theme and finalization. Automation may suggest trims or a canvas but does not silently shorten a message or crop a person from the frame.
A project supports up to 50 active clips, 60 seconds and 500 MB per clip, 10 GB of raw uploads and 30 minutes of selected footage. We may reject corrupt, unsafe, unsupported or over-limit files.
Accounts and private links
Organizer access uses an email code. You are responsible for the email account and devices you use. Contribution, receipt and viewing links act like keys: share them only with intended people and rotate or revoke them if exposed. Contributors do not receive an account and must not attempt to view other submissions.
Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Gatherfox a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transcode, transcribe, combine, display and deliver it only to operate the project, meet legal obligations and resolve an authorized support issue. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where limited retention is legally required.
You promise that you have permission from every person shown or heard, that the content and any uploaded audio may lawfully be used in the montage, and that it does not infringe privacy, publicity, copyright or other rights. Organizers are responsible for the people invited and the final film’s audience.
Price, payment and refunds
Creating, collecting and watching the watermarked preview is free within project limits. A one-time $29 USD purchase, localized by Paddle, unlocks the clean 1080p film, captions, private page and eligible rerenders. Discounts do not stack. Paddle is merchant of record and may collect tax and show the final local amount before purchase.
Digital delivery starts as soon as payment is verified. Where the law permits, you ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that a cancellation right may end once the clean digital content is supplied. If Gatherfox cannot produce or deliver the purchased output as promised, contact support for repair, replacement or an appropriate refund. Mandatory local remedies always apply.
Storage, downloads and closure
The deletion periods in the Privacy Notice are part of the service. Download the paid final before its 12-month expiry. We send expiry reminders where a usable email exists, but delivery of an email is not guaranteed. Once working media expires, rerendering and individual-clip downloads stop.
Product rights
Gatherfox, its design, code, themes and brand belong to Foxden or its licensors. These terms do not grant a right to copy, resell, reverse engineer or use the service to build a competing dataset or product, except where law expressly permits.
Suspension and removal
We may block an upload, link or project when reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, investigate abuse, prevent security harm or enforce the Acceptable Use Policy. We will explain and allow an appeal when doing so would not create further harm or breach a legal restriction.
Service commitments and liability
We use reasonable care and skill and aim for the service levels described on the status page. Internet uploads, automated captions and playback across third-party devices can fail. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer protections.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gatherfox is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost profits or loss caused by content, invitations or link sharing under the organizer’s control. For paid projects, our aggregate liability for claims connected to that project is limited to the greater of the amount paid for it or the minimum amount required by law.

If something goes wrong, contact contact@foxdenlabs.com first so we can try to resolve it directly. We may update these terms prospectively; material changes to active paid projects will not reduce already-purchased access.
